Ready for a Wicked-ly good time? Amazon and Universal Pictures are transporting the land of Oz directly to Seattle for fans to experience Universal Pictures’ new cinematic event, “Wicked,” in person.

Amazon is defying gravity, and as part of the company’s monthlong, multi-week and channel salute to promote the theatrical release of “Wicked” on November 22, the Seattle community is invited to join the fun at the Seattle Spheres for an immersive experience inspired by the film. The celebration will include themed activities and photo opportunities, a chance to explore an Oz-fied Understory and browse officially licensed merchandise available for purchase on www.OzonAmazon.com (site will go live on Oct. 30). Guests will also be able to view art installations by resident artists and witness the Spheres lighting up in pink and green to pay homage to the film’s iconic lead characters: Glinda the Good and The Wicked Witch of the West.
For those unable to attend in person, Glee stars Amber Riley and Kevin McHale will be on-the-scene at the Seattle Spheres, broadcasting on Amazon Live to give virtual viewers an inside look at the festivities. Fans can also experience the Understory retail pop-up and art installations through November 2nd.
