The annual Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series is proud to present Pearl Django with Gail Pettis as this year’s featured headliner!
With a performance history spanning almost two decades, Pearl Django endures as one of the most highly regarded Hot Club style groups working today. Although the band’s roots are firmly in the music made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grappelli, its extensive repertoire includes traditional jazz classics and original compositions.
Featured in O, the Oprah Magazine, Gail Pettis, brings to the stage rich, warm vocals and understated phrasing. Gail discusses in O freeing the inner artist and relinquishing her clinic coat to pursue creative talents. Previously an orthodontist of 15 years, Gail left that life behind in passionate pursuit of music.
