The Polytech, a Seattle-based private school serving students in grades 11-12, connects high school to a career pathway. These students earn college credits, industry certificates, and a high school diploma all at the same time. Through small group and one-on-one instruction, The Polytech provides support to students throughout every step, building soft skills and confidence as well as academic skills.
The Polytech offers access to several career pathways, including Healthcare, Business & IT, Education, Manufacturing, and Engineering, giving students the option to earn an industry certification in programs like these:
- Personal Fitness Trainer
- Phlebotomy
- Welding
- Bookkeeping
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Computer Networking Specialist
- Early Childhood Education Specialist
Students may attend The Polytech as their full-time school or participate in several support services, including tutoring, individual courses for credit, and career interest assessments. "What really makes us different is the ability to earn a high school diploma plus college credit and even an industry certificate. Students leave us with confidence and clarity about their next steps," says co-founder Dr. Marcia Rodes.
Students, parents, and educators are invited to learn more by attending an open house on Wednesday, April 10th, from 4:00-7:00 pm. The campus is located in Northgate at 540 NE Northgate Way, Suite D (behind the non-mall Starbucks).
