Join us for Rattle Dem Bones-a group bike ride for people of all ages and abilities, followed by a spook-tacular Halloween party in boo-ti-ful Gig Harbor!
MINI MONSTER Route – Up to 15 MILES - perfect for families and casual riders. Pedal as much or as little of the Cushman Trail as you and your goblins - or maybe ghoul-friends - wish to. Volunteers will cheer you on along the way, help you cross intersections safely and hand out treats - the more of the trail you cover, the more of them you will meet! Take on the Narrows Challenge and ride to the middle of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge... if you dare!
We are also offering two supported challenge routes - the 36 mile MONSTER HILLS and the 22 mile SON OF MONSTER, geared towards older kids and adults.
Start any time you wish and plan to be back in time for the party at noon where there will be music and the awards ceremony-with prizes-for best costumes in several categories, including best themed group, best volunteer and best use of the bike as part of the costume.
Proceeds from Rattle Dem Bones benefit the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation's Community Recreation Fund-we are going to have fun and also make it possible for all kids in our area to join in sports and recreation activities, regardless of their family's ability to pay registration fees and equipment costs.
