Grab a blanket or lawn chairs and gather on the large Flag Lawn for one final outdoor concert of summer. Groove to the cool sounds of the Grit City Sax Quartet whose repertoire spans “from Bach and Dvořák to movie themes and pop rock.” Their set will begin at 4 pm but come early to enjoy the gardens! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
TAKE A PIECE OF LAKEWOLD HOME WITH YOU! Over Labor Day weekend, we will have a selection of rhododendron plants available for purchase. These plants belonged to Lakewold Gardens, were propagated elsewhere and then returned to our horticulturists’ care. They will be priced between $10 and $15 on September 2 – 4. Come early for the best selection!
