Discover Seattle Historical Arts in this free, festive, drop-in afternoon event for kids, teens, and adults! Groups of students aged 7-17 in our performing programs present short performances and demonstrations throughout the afternoon, sharing instrumental music, songs, and drama of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras, and even historical fencing. In between the presentations, families can meet some of our teachers and students, and visiting kids can try some of our historical instruments and art forms in mini-sessions. The afternoon's offerings are especially geared toward students in elementary through high school grades; younger children are welcome to attend, but a few of the hands-on activities are restricted to elementary grades and up. LOCATION: The Community Hall at the Phinney Neighborhood Center can be reached via the Lower parking lot at the Phinney Center, OR by the direct entrance on the Dayton Ave side between 66th and 67th Ave NW, which is ADA accessible
