Take a sunset stroll around our fields, embark on an exciting bat conservation tour, learn about nighttime photography and indulge in a delightful selection of locally-sourced non-alcoholic craft beverages, including refreshing shrubs, handcrafted teas, unique kombuchas, and more! Marvel at the wonders of the cosmos as you cozy up under your blanket and the night sky.
Your ticket grants you access to all activities and includes two drinks of your choice, with the option to purchase additional drinks and delicious snacks and bites by Chef Seth.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Telescoping Astronomy with the Seattle Astronomical Society
- Experience unique views of the night sky using telescopes and guidance from our sky-passionate friends of the Seattle Astronomical Society! Learn more about constellations, planets, stars, and unique galactic landscapes.
Nighttime Bat Tour (8:30PM - 9:30PM, 9:30PM - 10:30PM) .5 Miles
- Dusk is the perfect opportunity to observe and monitor our local native bat population. Follow Oxbow’s Conservation Team on a guided tour of our fields and restoration sites and monitor local native bat populations!
Last Lite Photography Demo (Every 30 minutes starting at 8:30PM)
- Know nothing about photography? Interested in learning about how to take the best outdoor nature photos? Come over to the Last Lite Photography booth where you will be taught the ropes of nighttime photography. No photography camera required!
Photography Tour (Every 30 minutes starting at 8:30PM) 1 mile
- Join photographer Travis Wetherbee on a small field tour where you'll get hands-on training on how to elevate your night photography!
Kid’s Activities
Join our OxEd team in kid’s activities geared towards star gazing and learning about constellations, planets, and stars!
