Seattle Paint Party is thrilled to bring Art in the Park to the South Seattle community during the summer of 2023. to offer families an opportunity to unleash their creativity and have some outdoor fun.
We invite families to come join us in a welcoming and inclusive environment, where they can use a wide range of art materials provided by us to create their own unique art pieces. From paint to markers, crayons to pastels, there will be a side variety of materials to experience with.
In addition to the art materials, our event will also feature mini art sessions led by local artists such as during the duration of the event. These talented individuals will be on hand to provide brief but engaging workshops, where they will share their skills, techniques, and insights on various art forms. Whether you're interested in painting, drawing, collage, or any other form of artistic expression, our local artists will have something for everyone.
The mini art sessions are designed to cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels, making them accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Participants can try out new techniques or hone their existing skills, all while enjoying the beautiful outdoor setting. We will have a designated creative area set up that is dedicated to the small workshops lead by local artists.
As an added bonus, a limited amount of art supplies will be given out to participants to take home, providing an opportunity for them to continue creating beyond the park. Participants are welcome to create as many projects as they like during the three-hour sessions and take them home as well.
We recognize that accessibility to art materials can be a barrier for some individuals and families in this community. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to unleash their creativity regardless of their financial situation.
