On this guided walk, you’ll learn all about the habitats and behaviors of local squirrels. Discover how these clever creatures find food, care for their families, and even help forests grow. Perfect for nature lovers of all ages, this walk will open your eyes to the hidden lives of squirrels and their important role in our ecosystem!
Event is free and drop-ins are welcome, though registration is encouraged.
- Dress for the weather – this walk will happen rain or shine.
- Participants should be able to travel on unpaved, uneven trails for up to an hour.
- Service animals are permitted; pets are not allowed.
- The program will begin at the Trilogy Statue near the pond and continue along the park’s scenic walking paths.
- Come prepared to spot squirrels and enjoy a fun and educational adventure in nature.
