Join us during Spring Break for some amazing workshops and activities as we explore the expressive arts like music, dance, and theater!
Each day we will explore a different way that people can express themselves.
Wednesday, April 10 - 1-3 PM | Printmaking Workshop with Brian Lane. Learn some of the techniques of printmaking, a centuries old art making practice. Take home your own creations and help us build a community garden!
Thursday, April 11, 1-2PM | Rhythm & Rhymes Story Hour with the Auburn Symphony. Enjoy a fun, interactive music presentation with ASO musicians Sarah Viens, trumpet, and Lana Van Boven, voice and guitar, followed by a story read-aloud. This program is best for ages 3-8 but families of all ages are encouraged to attend. Take home a craft kit to continue the fun at home!
Friday, April 12, 2-3 PM | Manga Drawing with Amanda Jenkinson. Join us as we learn the basics of Manga, the graphic style developed in Japan. Attendees will be able to work on self portraits or create their own characters! No experience necessary.
