Visit any of Tacoma’s four community centers for free on February 19, President’s Day! Admission is free, no membership or day pass is required.
At STAR Center, Treetops Playgrounds admission is free and the playgrounds will be open for Family Play all day. Family Play sessions require an adult to remain with children at the playground.
The pools are also free all day and will have a special rec swim in the afternoon. The pool rec swims are part of an ongoing promotion to provide access to youth who have a day off from school. Tacoma Public School students are invited to join us at one of our indoor pool locations on specific dates throughout the year for fun-filled water activities while school is not in session.

- Eastside Community Center: 7 am-8 pm
- Center at Norpoint: 5:30 am-8 pm
- People’s Center: 7 am-8 pm
- STAR Center 6 am-8 pm
- Treetops Playgrounds: 9 am-6 pm – Free Family Play All Day
