Do you want to stop nagging your preteen or teen? Vice President for Academic Affairs Karen Blankenbeckler will teach parents proactive, respectful, and loving ways to raise responsible and caring teens.

Join us for this presentation and learn how to set healthy boundaries, foster effective decision-making with empathy and grace, avoid power struggles, and empower your tweens, teens, and young adults to take responsibility for their actions.

Intended audience: parents with students in grades 5 through 12 and educators (1.0 clock hours offered).

Karen Blankenbeckler is one of the founding members of Bear Creek’s teaching faculty and as the V.P. for Academic Affairs oversees the academic program from preschool through grade 12. She has served more than 25 years in steadfast leadership and has made major contributions to the development and success of the curricular and co-curricular programs at Bear Creek.

Karen holds a B.S. Elementary Education, Concentration in Early Childhood Development from Oregon State University, and an M.A. Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.
