Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust for their annual tree planting. We will be working on the lower Issaquah Creek stream and riparian habitat enhancement project. Our goal is to plant 1,000 trees.
For safety, volunteers are required to wear:
- Long pants (we’ll be working with tools, so no shorts please!)
- Sturdy, close-toed shoes (absolutely no sandals)
- Gloves (provided)
In addition, we recommend that participants bring:
- Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
- Rain gear
- Snacks
- At least one full water bottle
- Small daypack for lunch, extra layers, etc…
Please note that the location is near Pickering Barn. Once you register we will send you specific instructions for parking.
