Explore the intertidal zone with a Seattle Urban Nature Guide on Discovery Park's sandy South Beach. Touch sea anemones, experience a clam squirt, search for sea stars and enjoy this unique Salish Sea event. Be sure to wear shoes that can get wet.
Program begins at the Discovery Park Visitor Center.
Participants age 13+ can ride in the van to the beach. Groups with children age 12 and under can be issued a beach parking pass for their vehicle or ride the shuttle bus to the beach.
All program participants must be registered.
