We are excited to announce that the University of Washington Matsuri, hosted by JSA, is back again this year on May 4th! This year’s theme is “Around Japan” Come join us for a night filled with fun, food, dance, and games. Get to know a few of the prefectures we’ve decided to spotlight by following our Instagram posts!
You will be able to experience the traditional feel of a Japanese Matsuri, or festival, while enjoying famous Japanese foods such as Curry, Gyoza, Mitarashi Dango, and many more! Attendees will be able to win prizes with raffle tickets or by playing at the game booths. We will also have several talented UW clubs performing throughout the night along with our main performance by the Kabuki Academy!
UW Matsuri is a place for people of all ages to come together and enjoy Japanese culture through food, games, and performances. We look forward to seeing you there!
Entry to this event is completely FREE and open to the public, but tickets will be required to play games, buy food, and participate in the grand prize raffle. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door starting at 4PM!
