Virtual: Envirothon Climate Adaptation Expert Panel with King Conservation District

Calendar/Event Details

Participating in Envirothon? Interested in Envirothon? Learn about this year’s current issue topic, Adapting to a Changing Climate!

Envirothon is a high school environmental science competition hosted by conservation districts that tests students' knowledge on Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, Soil, and a yearly current issue.

Join King Conservation District staff for a panel discussion with climate experts from across the region. Speakers from the USDA Northwest Climate Hub, Padilla Bay Reserve, and more will discuss the ways in which their organizations help our region adapt to the changing climate. This is a great opportunity to get your teams ready for the Regional Envirothon. This event is also open to all students, so if you are unsure about participating in Envirothon and want to know more, think you can benefit from this session for other events, or are simply interested in climate change, you are more than welcome to join us!
