People’s Memorial Association (PMA) is the trusted resource and thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State. We envision a future where everyone has access to after-death arrangements that reflect their personal values and resources.

Beverly Tryk is the Communications Manager of PMA. She is passionate about community health outreach and consumes public health data for breakfast. Through her volunteer work, she has become very at-home in uncomfortable conversations and is happy to help families find the answers to difficult questions. Beverly found People's Memorial when she was preparing for the Peace Corps and had to create her own end of life plan. In her time not held captive by cozy blankets and gripping reads, she is a well-caffeinated volunteer interpreter.
