The Young People's March for Peace and Kindness is an annual opportunity to bring kids together on Martin Luther King Day to share their voices and get their opinions heard. It begins at the library, where we gather to write and draw letters to leaders and heroes (we'll offer addresses, materials, and ideas to get started).
We'll make signs with messages of peace and kindness to carry (or you can bring your own). At 11:15 am we march together from the library to the Post Office to mail our letters. Dress for the weather, we will joyfully be walking rain or shine!
Youth of all ages, families, and community members are welcome! Bring signs, banners, friends, and your voice!
