Head over the pass to Stutzman Ranch if your kids love crunchy, juicy Fuji and Gala apples. Starting in late August Gala apples, Bartlett and Asian pears will be ripe and ready for picking. If you get to the farm early in the day, you’ll have your pick of farm-fresh eggs, too.
Get pickin’: Most apple varieties will be ready sometime between August–September. In pervious years the farm has been open daily, but always double-check hours and availability on the day you want to go. Check the Facebook page or call and listen to their message for current U-pick information. More details about the 2024 season are coming, be sure to check Facebook or give them a call for the latest info.
