It’s true, the Pacific Northwest is known for its rain forests, mountains and beaches, but we’ve got our fair share of urban adventures, too. This activity, which takes you across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge into Gig Harbor, gives you the exercise of a hike and the rush of being suspended hundreds of feet above water. While there are excellent views of islands on the horizon, looking down may provide some of the best fun: spotting clusters of Aurelia labiata, a species of moon jellyfish. Stop in at local favorite Pao’s Donuts & Coffee Shop to fuel up for the 2-mile round-trip bridge hike!
