Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
One of the region’s most beloved displays, Zoolights is a spectacular show made up of more than 800,000 LED lights. Tacoma’s Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium hosts this show and welcomes families from around the South Sound and beyond. Guests can expect favorite scenes such as Sasquatch, a giant Pacific octopus and the twin Tacoma Narrows Bridge spans. Timed-entry tickets are required and must be purchased online.
Dates: Zoolights opens Nov. 24, 2023, and runs through Jan. 1, 2024, with closure dates Dec. 24–25. Open hours are 4:30–10 p.m.
Cost: Off-peak tickets for Monday–Thursday cost $14 for ages 3 and older; peak tickets for Friday–Sunday cost $18. Kids ages 2 and younger enter free. Zoo members and BECU members receive a discount. Book tickets online. Parking is free.
