Melting ice experiments
Your kids don’t have to have advanced knowledge of the states of matter in order to love melting ice into water. Set ice cubes in a muffin tray and douse them with warm water, cold water, salt and sugar to see which cubes melt fastest. Or freeze a bunch of toy dinosaurs inside water balloons. Then, give your kids warm water and eye droppers to “excavate” their prehistoric friends.
