As if taking an airplane trip with your kids wasn't hard enough, now we've got the "full body scanner" and those now infamous "pat-downs" to contend with. The train's sounding better all the time.

I discussed flying with kids - and navigating that airport turmoil - today on KING TV's Parent-to-Parent. Also on the segment: some great tips for making those hours in the air a bit more tolerable for you, for your kids, and maybe even for those other passengers on the flight.
