This just in - darling little cupcake earrings, BFF bracelets and more -- sold at Justice and Limited Too stores -- are being recalled because of high levels of the toxic metal cadmium.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) sez cadmium is toxic if ingested by children and can cause adverse health effects. If you have one of these items around your house, stop your child from wearing it and return it to any Limited Too or Justice store for a refund.
This recall involves 19 different styles of children's metal necklaces, bracelets and earrings in the shape of hearts, heart locks, butterflies, cupcakes, peace signs and crowns. Some jewelry contains the words "Best," "Friends" or "Forever" and/or "BFF."
