We all know nature is good for kids, but sometimes it can be hard to make the time in busy family schedules for outdoor exploration and play. In his new book, How to Raise a Wild Child: The Art and Science of Falling in Love with Nature, paleontologist Scott Sampson of the PBS Kids hit Dinosaur Train shares how and why to help kids fall in love with nature and why it’s critical for both the planet and ourselves. He's also giving a talk on Town Hall Seattle on Thursday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. on "Connecting Kids to Nature in a Technological World."
Enter to win a copy of How to Raise a Wild Child (value is $25) and a pair of tickets to the April 2 lecture by filling out the form below. We'll select three winners.
