ParentMap and PCC Natural Markets have partnered to produce an exciting web series called Healthy Kids Cook, designed to encourage families to make a healthy habit of cooking fresh food together in the kitchen, and to help explore the farm-to-table journey of some of your favorite foods.
In this episode, Chef Jackie and her friends Angeline and Trenton take a trip to see the dedicated people who work together to make amazing, hand-crafted buttermilk and yogurt. Unlike most commercial buttermilks today, Grace Harbor Farms' is made with whole milk, for an wonderfully thick and rich drink. Give these four-ingredient smoothies a whirl!
You can substitute plain kefir for the buttermilk if you prefer. This smoothie is particularly creamy and delicious when made with Grace Harbor Farms whole-milk buttermilk.
