Seattle wedding photographer Stephanie Cristalli was shooting pictures of a bridal party outside Hotel Ballard, when the bride noticed a little girl staring at her. The bride, Shandace Lerma, approached the girl and gave her a flower from her bouquet.

“It was just a cute moment,” Cristalli said.

Cristalli captured the sequence on her camera, and groom Scott Robertson posted the pictures on imgur on Wednesday.

“My wife and I got married last February, and during the photo shoot, this little girl and her mom happened to be walking by,” he wrote. “The little girl thought my beautiful wife was the princess from her favorite book (the one she’s holding).

“If anyone recognizes this woman, please let me know,” he added. “We’d love to send her the pictures.”

His post went viral, and news sources from Huffington Post to Inside Edition picked up the story.

“Scott and I were both overwhelmed and very surprised by the response,” Lerma said. “It's the joy the world needs right now.”

“Your wife is forever the Princess of Ballard to her,” the mom wrote on imgur.

That day, the bride and groom connected with the little girl’s family. “We found them!!! Thank you imgur, you guys made it happen!!” Robertson wrote.

The little girl carried that book everywhere with her because she loved the lady on the cover, her mom explained. When she saw the princess, it was like her dream come true.

“Your wife is forever the Princess of Ballard to her,” the mom wrote on imgur.

“Oh, also we got a bit of mud on your wife’s dress (rainy day, puddle jumping),” she added. “Always wanted to apologize for that…”
