U.S. News & World Report has named Seattle Children's one of the best children's hospitals in the country for the 18th consecutive year. Our local children's hospital was ranked #2 for kidney disorders, #7 for cancer, and #8 for pulmonary disorders and urology.
Hospitals were ranked in 10 specialties, and were judged on a combination of reputation, outcome and other factors such as advanced technology and nursing care.
The results were announced as part of the magazine's annual America's Best Children's Hospitals issue, on sale July 27. Learn more about the ranking methodology and other top children's hospitals here.
