At Hugo House, young writers have the opportunity to explore, consume, and create great writing.

Programs for youth include weekly drop-in writing circles for all age ranges hosted by professional writers; Young Writers Cohort, a school-year-round program that offers intensive writing study for high school-aged writers; Stage Fright, a quarterly youth open mic night; intensive week-long summer writing camps featuring acclaimed guests, unique field trips, hands-on projects, and more; and on-site field trips for school groups.
