For over 30 years, the City of Tumwater has hosted its Annual Independence Day Parade. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. on July 4. Individuals and organizations interested in participating in the parade, please click the blue button below to register online.
Parade Details:
10:30 a.m.: No vehicle access allowed along the parade route.
10:45 a.m.: Pre-parade activities begin
11:00 a.m.: Parade begins
Parade starts at the corner of Capitol Boulevard and Lee Street.
Moves south on Capitol Boulevard to Israel Road.
Turns west (right) onto Israel Road and continues past City Hall, ending up at Linderson Way / Israel Road Intersection.
Tumwater Family Festival & Nisqually Red Wind Casino Fireworks Show is the biggest and best fireworks festival in the County – and it happens on the Tumwater Valley Golf Course driving range every year on July 4th!
Activities: Live and DJ music, inflatable activities (bounce houses, obstacle courses, etc.) games (cornhole and volleyball), plenty of food vendors, and a lot more waiting for you.
Festival entry: FREE!
Event Parking: $10/car (cash only) benefits Thurston County Special Olympics. Event parking lot is adjacent to the Driving Range, accessible via E Street off Capitol Blvd.
