Mark your calendar and join (or watch) Seattle’s favorite family parade!
Since Saturday, July 8 marks the beginning of the Dog Days of Summer in Wallingford, we thought it might be a good idea to kick it off with a parade that’s completely gone to the dogs. We know your furry friend wants to strut his or her stuff. Dress him or her up and join in the fun. PS. Cats can come, too. All participating animals must be licensed.
10 a.m. to participate - Parade starts at 11 a.m.
Play Hide & Seek with us AFTER the parade!
Here in Wallingford, we like to keep the party going. There will be furry friends (no, not live ones, facsimilies of them) hiding in stores all over Wallingford, from Archee McPhee’s to the Hawaiian General Store!
Simply pick up an entry form at Hide & Seek Headquarters (a table in front of Wallingford Center), visit 10 stores, find a canine, feline or gerbil for that matter, have the store clerk mark your form and bring it back to Headquarters. A drawing for prizes will be held at 3pm.
11 a.m.-5 p.m.
