Every year during the second weekend in July, the Downtown Arlington Business Association, hosts a street fair filled with unique items, food, entertainment and a farmers market. Last year we hosted 120 vendors offering a very wide assortment of décor, clothing and other collectibles. Hundreds of shoppers came out in spite of the 90 degree plus weather! This year we hope to attract even more with live entertainment in the Legion Park (located at the southernmost end of Olympic Avenue) and activities for kids.
The Fair takes place at the same time as the Arlington Fly-In, so Fair attendees can also go check out this fun event at the Arlington Municipal Airport. And vice versa. We will have a shuttle running to and from the Airport to Downtown Arlington on Friday and Saturday.
