Volunteer at our annual Arbor & Earth Day event on Saturday, April 22 at 9 a.m. at the Cedar River Trail Extension, along Logan Ave S.
Volunteers will:
- Plant trees and spread bark to promote a healthy environment.
- Install storm drain markers and distribute educational materials.
Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, a sapling to plant at home, and a light lunch and snacks will be provided. There is limited street parking; park at Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave. N. Gloves and tools are provided. Dress for the weather. Volunteers must be 14 and older.
