To celebrate the end of summer and kick off the school year ahead, Kirkland Urban is hosting a free, family-friendly Back to School Carnival and School Supply Drive on Saturday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Festivities will include carnival games, temporary tattoos, balloon artists, crafts, photo booths, popcorn and cotton candy vendors, a live DJ and much more.
This celebration will be held in tandem with the usual monthly KU Kid’s event. Julie from Clown Buggie Entertainment will be on-site to walk kids through this month’s carnival themed craft, answering questions along the way.
To help support our students in the Greater-Kirkland community, families are invited to donate school supply items upon arrival. Items most-needed include: washable markers, pencils, colored pencils, tape, glue sticks, white glue, folders, construction paper, notebooks, paint, pens and highlighters.
