Candy Brown, local bird expert and teacher will provide information from 10 – 11:30am about our native HummingBirds and how to attract and feed them in your yard. She teaches everything you always wanted to know about attracting the tiniest of all birds into your garden. She teaches about their habits and habits you need to feed them safely.
From 11:45am to 1:30pm Mason bee hobbyist, Todd Brown, will share his knowledge and experience raising these wonderful native pollinators. He will explain the bee life cycle, the five mason bee essentials, how to build a mason bee box, and how to manage your mason bees year-round.
Both workshops are free and everyone is welcome. We are lucky to have Candy and Todd in our community and you won’t want to miss these two important workshops.
