To kick off our Teen Night co-presented with TeenTix, you can embark on your own silkscreening journey! Join artist María Zamora, who teaches screen printing at Coyote Central and the Pratt Fine Arts Center, as she offers a hands-on experience silkscreening her unique CFFS-inspired celestial design onto bandanas (while supplies last) and postcards! This FREE activity is open to anyone who’d like to try their hand at silkscreening (so please dress accordingly if you don’t want to get inky) and walk away with their very own piece of art.
Come prepared to embark on a new hobby – once you’ve silkscreened, you can never go back! Soon you’ll be redecorating every inch of your clothes, and making original stationery, zines, and concert posters.
