Early Masters “Seeing Nature”
March 1- 27, 2017
For their 7th exhibition with the Community Corridor Art Gallery, students from Early Masters (a Seattle Art School) examined European and American landscape paintings inspired by the exhibition, “Seeing Nature.”
Young artists (ages 7-15) were led on an exploration of work that explored artists’ personal experiences with their surroundings on land and sea.
Through visual presentations, music, and conversation, students created paintings inspired by such artists as Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, Gustav Klimt, Édouard Manet, and David Hockney.
No ticket required to view - admission required to visit the rest of the museum.
