iUrban Teen has recently acquired donated land from the Seattle Parks and Recreation Urban Food System program to continue the community garden project at Rainier Community Center. This plot of land will undergo massive transformations to promote environmental STEM education to unrepresented youth while also providing chemical free produce to the community. Several community partners will be invited to table at this event to promote their work within the Seattle area and interact with students of all ages. Together we aim to build a strong network of allies with the similar goal of creating educational opportunities for youth and families to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are prioritized.
