Sumi Ink Explorations
This Saturday morning workshop begins with a gallery and sketching tour of SAM's Asian art collection where families will explore how past and contemporary artists express themselves through painting.
In the art studio, families will create a painted sumi ink masterpiece inspired by their art adventure. A thoughtfully curated array of art materials and guidance from a teaching artist will help families harness their creativity and imagination!
Young Artists Workshops are designed for specific age groups to provide an experience tailored to the needs of families with children ages 6-12
