On Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Kirkland Urban is hosting the second annual “Fiestas Patrias” celebration to reflect, celebrate, and honor the National Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions of the Latino/Hispanic community.
The event will feature:
- An Instagram-able, giant letter "HOLA” installation designed by Top Knotch Events
- A live dance performance by the Bailadores de Bronce
- Latin tunes by DJ Nano from Energia Events
- Kid-friendly games and treats provided by local businesses
- Paparepas, a local Venezualan restauarant will be providing delicious Venezuelan food for purchase.
In partnership with the Sea Mar Community Health Center Dr. Jerry Garcia, VP of Education Services, will be at the event with his team to conduct health screenings, administer vaccinations and answer questions onsite.
This event is free and open to the public, brought to you by Kirkland Urban.
Kirkland Urban is an inclusive and accessible open-air shopping center. To support children and adults of all abilities, sensory-sensitive toolkits will be available onsite during all Kirkland Urban events. Toolkits include noise-canceling headphones, sensory/fidget toys, earplugs and an identifier sticker/badge and can be picked up upon arrival. This event is free and open to the public.
