Have you ever wondered what is involved in becoming a foster parent in Washington State? Join us to learn what it takes, who can foster and how else you may be able to be involved. We will discuss what it is like to be a foster parent, you will hear from a woman who spent time in foster care during her childhood and you will hear from a staff member inside of the DSHS office about what it looks like day to day from the inside. Even if you can't commit to hosting a child in foster care there are a ton of ways you can help by being involved.
