The University of Washington Center for Pediatric Dentistry and Bartell Drugs invite children ages 6 mos. through 18 years old to receive FREE preventive dental care during a special Give Kids a Smile Day, Tuesday, February 20, from 1-5pm. The first 50 children to make appointments will receive the care, and a wait list will be established.
Participating children will receive, at no cost to the family, a full exam, xrays, teeth cleaning and fluoride application.
Give Kids a Smile is part of Children’s Dental Health Month during which the Center focuses on encouraging families to be sure their children receive regular dental check-ups and practice good oral hygiene. Dental disease is a leading cause of childhood health issues, and can result in poor nutrition, reduced ability for a child to concentrate and more missed school days.
