Join Sno-King Watershed Council, in partnership with the City of Kenmore, for habitat restoration in Wallace Swamp Creek Park on Saturday, February 19 from 11 am - 2 pm!
All are welcome! Volunteers under 18, please bring a parent or guardian with you.
Please bring a mask in the event that social distancing is not possible. I personally will mask outside if there are a lot of people near me, but please feel free to work without a mask if you can social distance.
Please also bring your own work gloves, hand clippers, and/or your favorite tool for digging (both small garden shovels and large digging shovels will be handy) and/or hand clippers.
We will be clipping blackberry canes, digging blackberry root balls, and maybe hauling mulch. The knotweed growth has really slowed down, but if you feel called to dig in that place for more roots and rhizomes if you may!
We will be working near the parking lot.
RSVPs not required, but it always feels good to know you'll be there!
