Studies show that girls internalize culturally dominant ideas about gender, intelligence, and possibilities from a very young age, and there aren’t many female role models in traditional historical educatioal paradigms. HerStory gives girls stories that they can see themselves in, and offers family members insight into each other's dreams and feelings along the way!
