Learn about and celebrate Holi! Create your own Mixed Media Marigold painting using tissue paper, watercolors, crayons and markers.
The annual Hindu celebration called Holi, usually held in March, is celebrated on the last full moon in the lunar month of Phalguna. Known as the festival of colors or the festival of sharing and love, Holi marks the beginning of spring after a long winter, symbolic of the triumph of good over evil.
Mexico and India used marigold flowers to adorn temples and altars during their festivities such as Holi and Dia de Los Muertos.
