Join us for a Superhero literacy event! Come for a free read-aloud and superhero academy training. We’ll have a backdrop for pictures and information on how to help your kiddo identify their strengths (superpowers). Kids will receive a free cape and a book (one per family while supplies last). This is a fun way for families to learn about cultivating self-awareness, a fundamental component of social emotional learning, and have some Halloween fun in the process. Stick around after the event as the YMCA is hosting a drive through trick-or-treat event at 4:30pm.
Designed for kids 10 and under, but all ages welcome!
