This parent and child drop-in class is geared towards bringing out the youngster's inner artist, with some help from their trusted adult! Have fun learning together as you collaborate, and create some very special artwork within our safe and supportive environment. Art projects will be based on fun and familiar subjects, such as animals, people, landscapes, and the art masters. You'll play, learn and express yourselves with markers, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, chalk, glitter and more.
I'm an Artist prepares younger children for Kindergarten and school settings by developing fine motor skills, listening and responding exercises, and observation of teachers for creative guidance. In addition, this session will provide you with new ideas to engage your child in reflective and nurturing conversation, about their artwork, and beyond! Hear from your child about what they have created, learned, loved and wish for in their artwork, exploring your child's thinking process as a young artist.
