Local artist Nikky Jost will guide you through the supplies and techniques needed to create dazzling abstract art with acrylic pour paint.
All skill levels welcome.
Supplies Needed
This can be a messy art medium, so make sure to protect your work surfaces and clothes.
- Gloves
- A large pan, cookie sheet or surface to use
- Foil (to cover the pan or surface)
- 3 bottles of pour paint. Choose one of those as white or a lighter color. The presenter uses DecoArt Pour Paint brand from Michaels or Joanns.
- 3 plastic cups
- 1 or 2 8x10 canvas if you want to follow along with both demonstrations
- Paper towels
- Apron or clothes you don’t mind getting paint on
