Every year, YES’ Invest in Youth Breakfast draws 1,000+ generous individuals who care deeply about the lives and futures of youth and families in East King County.
The 2018 Invest In Youth Breakfast will be held March 21 at the Meydenbauer Center – we hope you’ll join us for this inspiring event.
Attendees hear inspiring stories from youth YES has helped and updates on YES’ accomplishments over the past year — and enjoy a delicious breakfast in the company of others who care about our community’s future.
This year YES will be welcoming keynote speaker Cheryl Strayed, author of many New York Times bestsellers including, “Tiny Beautiful Things,” “Brave Enough,” and “Torch.” Her most well-known memoir “Wild,” inspired the critically acclaimed Hollywood movie by the same name, featuring Reese Witherspoon. Cheryl will share her experiences with substance abuse and challenging family dynamics, issues that will resonate with YES clients and supporters.
