Experience International Space Station at PacSci! For just 3 days (August 1–3) PacSci will host a pop-up exhibit from International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory.
NASA’s Driven to Explore mobile exhibit invites visitors to experience the story of NASA and, specifically, the International Space Station.
Learn about the role the space station plays as the centerpiece of human exploration efforts, which allows astronauts to perform experiments and scientific research only possible in microgravity. Also learn how the science happening aboard the station helps us improve life here on Earth and plan for future missions into deep space.
Included in the exhibit:
A lunar rock sample – one of only 10 samples available for the public to touch
Mock space suit guests can take a picture in
Audio and visual displays
Astronaut food to touch and look at.
This exhibit is included with General Admission to Pacific Science Center.
